Still one of the most revered names in fashion, Dior is known today for its unique couture dresses. This gorgeous volume, full of almost entirely unpublished images, continues the homage paid by famed photographer Patrick Demarchelier to one of the most important and influential fashion houses in the world. Working closely with the House of Dior, Demarchelier showcases the extraordinary gowns made in the Dior ateliers from 1947 to today. Alongside dresses designed by Dior himself, creations by the designers who succeeded him show the continuity of the house’s rich heritage up to the absolute modernity of Raf Simons’s designs.
